Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and attentive customer service to enhance their dining experience
- Assist with seating guests efficiently and manage waitlists using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and beverages promptly from the kitchen to tables, ensuring accurate delivery and presentation
- Clear tables by bussing dishes, glasses, and utensils, maintaining a clean and organized dining area
- Handle food running duties by transporting dishes from the kitchen to guest tables safely and efficiently, practicing proper manual handling and safe lifting techniques
- Support kitchen staff with basic food handling, preparation, and cleanup tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness by cleaning dining areas, counters, and service stations regularly to uphold food safety standards
- Assist with in-person guest services by answering questions about menu items or restaurant policies with clear communication skills
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Familiarity with food handling, food safety procedures, and basic kitchen operations is advantageous
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
- Strong communication skills combined with excellent guest service abilities are essential for success in this role
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large trays or transporting supplies
- Prior experience in hospitality or customer-facing roles will help you excel in providing exceptional guest services
