Position Overview
We are seeking reliable, compassionate, and hardworking Organizing Assistants to join our growing team. This hands-on role involves helping clients declutter, organize, pack, unpack, and create functional systems within their homes during transitions such as moving, downsizing, estate cleanouts, and other major life changes.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys organizing, working closely with people, solving problems, and making a meaningful difference in clients' lives.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with home organizing, decluttering, packing, and unpacking.
- Create and maintain organized, functional systems tailored to clients' needs.
- Provide compassionate support to clients during emotional and stressful transitions.
- Sort belongings, implement storage solutions, and maintain organized spaces.
- Lift, carry, and move boxes, bins, furniture, and household items as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with team members on organizing and moving projects.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and respect while working in clients' homes.
- Occasionally perform residential cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, laundry, sanitation, and general upkeep of living spaces.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Compassionate, patient, and positive attitude.
- Emotionally regulated and able to remain calm in high-stress or emotional situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation preferred.
- Ability to lift 30–50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, standing, reaching, and moving items throughout shifts.
- Previous experience in organizing, moving, cleaning, customer service, caregiving, personal assistance, or property management is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of proper sanitation and cleaning techniques is preferred.
