Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. This is a full time, seasonal position running from May through October. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the efficient operation of our distribution center, ensuring that products are accurately received, stored, and shipped to meet customer demands. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Check in vendor orders against purchase orders to ensure order accuracy.
- Note and report any overages, shortages or damages to warehouse manager.
- Ticket and hang apparel
- Ticket, label and package accessories and gift items for distribution.
- Execute packing operations to prepare orders for distribution.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the warehouse supervisor to optimize workflow and address any operational challenges.
- Keep the warehouse organized and clean, ensuring all materials are stored properly.
Skills
- Proficiency in shipping and receiving procedures within a warehouse setting preferred.
- Basic math skills required.
- Familiarity with distribution center operations and best practices.
- Accuracy and high attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time during 8 hour shift.
- Experience in picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations to maintain workplace safety standards.
