Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on steel production equipment, including conveyors, furnaces, rolling mills, and hydraulic systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Repair or replace defective components such as motors, belts, sensors, and control systems with precision.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs and documentation for all repairs and inspections.
- Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities that align with operational demands.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery or upgrades to existing equipment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance within a steel manufacturing or heavy industry environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical controls, and automation.
- Troubleshooting industrial equipment
- Working with stainless steel components
- Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on production machinery, motors, conveyors, and sensors.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and electrical diagrams accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
