Wyckoff Farms, Inc. is seeking a customer-focused Information Systems Technician to join our Information Systems team.
You'll work alongside experienced IT professionals supporting a diverse organization spanning agriculture, food manufacturing, distribution, and winery operations. Every day presents new challenges and opportunities to learn technologies that many IT professionals don't encounter until much later in their careers.
No two days are the same. One day you might deploy new laptops, the next you're troubleshooting a production barcode scanner, helping configure an access control system, installing a wireless access point, or assisting with a cybersecurity initiative. If you enjoy variety, solving problems, and continuously learning new technologies, you'll fit right in.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests by troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and user issues through our ticketing system, phone, email, and in-person support.
- Deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, Android and iOS mobile devices, and other endpoint technologies.
- Support Microsoft 365 services, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, user accounts, password management, and multi-factor authentication.
- Configure and troubleshoot Android and iOS smartphones and tablets.
- Support conference room technology, audio/visual equipment, VoIP phone systems, wireless networking, and collaboration tools.
- Support warehouse, manufacturing, barcode scanning, label printing, and other operational technologies used throughout our facilities.
- Assist users with enterprise business applications while working alongside infrastructure and software development teams to resolve technical issues.
- Support electronic access control, security camera, and intrusion alarm systems, including configuring employee access credentials.
- Prepare, deploy, refresh, and retire end-user technology, ensuring devices are configured according to company standards.
- Participate in infrastructure upgrades, hardware refreshes, software deployments, and technology improvement projects.
- Assist with cybersecurity initiatives including endpoint protection, phishing awareness, multi-factor authentication, and security best practices.
- Provide one-on-one technology guidance and training to employees while promoting IT best practices.
- Maintain accurate hardware inventory, software licensing, and asset management records.
- Create and improve technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
- Travel to company facilities throughout Central Washington using a company vehicle or a personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement to provide onsite technical support.
What You'll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- A positive attitude, curiosity, and a desire to continuously learn new technologies.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments.
