We are seeking an enthusiastic friendly and skilled Bartender to join our team.
Part time - a week day evening & a weekend night with fill ins as needed
The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment when busy without distraction.
We want friendly engaging bartenders who promote a positive attitude towards all.
Would be a week night and a weekend night with help with fill ins when needed.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and offering recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; advising on needs and supplies.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and ensure compliance with health standards..
- Utilize POS system for processing orders and managing tabs.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience is needed
- Familiarity with food safety practices in a restaurant or bar setting.
- Basic understanding of retail math for managing tabs and cash handling.
- Experience in high-volume fast pace environment is A plus when those times arise.
- upsell menu items effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends. And fill in at times.
