Kaye Personnel is looking for a Quality Assurance Associate for a company located in Philadelphia, PA, for a temp to permanent position.
Hours: 6am – 4pm, Monday to Friday
Pay rate: $25 per hour

Located in Philadelphia, we are a private and profitable food processing company. We are currently hiring a Full Time Quality Assurance Associate to join our team. The QA Associate will report directly to the Quality Manager and is responsible for all facets of Quality Inspection and Monitoring Areas as well as GMP, food safety and quality enforcement. The right candidate must be highly motivated, organized, and pay meticulous attention to detail. Duties will include, but are not limited to:

3 years’ experience working as a QA tech or applicable experience
Experience with meat processing facility preferred
Effective time management, strong reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret and understand policies/procedures and relate them to our operation
Energetic and personable with a professional, can-do attitude
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to work well independently and able to be transparent/communicate without direct supervision.
Able to work in cold environment, standing and walking around the plants.
Responsibilities:
Conduct quality inspections in plants on a daily basis (to verify policies and procedures are being followed).
Maintain accurate documentation of quality inspection results.
Ensure incoming materials are in compliance to required specifications.
Ensure outgoing products are in compliance with required specifications.
Ensure production personnel are following proper procedures for ongoing production checks.
Conduct monthly surveillance audits.
Conduct environmental sampling in the plants and keep log up to date. Verify that all samples required are taken by the end of every week.
Conduct titration of antimicrobial used in the plant.
Verify all documentation is properly completed before it is filed.
Setting up samples for organoleptic evaluations.
Assist with external audits (verification and organization of documents).
