Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic, dependable, and customer-focused Closing Shift Sales Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates who are comfortable working evening shifts in a fast-paced retail environment and who can consistently provide excellent customer service through store closing hours.
The ideal candidate is enjoys interacting with customers, and is able to maintain strong performance standards during busy evening operations. A strong interest in beauty, skincare, or Korean beauty products is highly preferred.
Schedule & Availability Requirements
- Candidates must be available to work closing shifts from 2:30 PM – 8:00 PM
- Availability on Wednesdays through Fridays is required
- Weekly fixed scheduled hours are considered mandatory and are expected to be fulfilled consistently
- Scheduling may be flexible depending on business needs, but evening closing availability is required
- Reliability, punctuality, and consistent attendance are essential for this position
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that best fit their needs
- Demonstrate product knowledge and explain how to use product testers and beauty products
- Operate POS systems and process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Support evening store operations, including all required closing procedures and end-of-day responsibilities
- Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, fully restocked, and prepared for the next business day
- Perform nightly recovery tasks, including organizing merchandise, cleaning tester stations, and securing designated areas
- Complete store closing tasks such as register closing, basic cash handling reconciliation, and securing store equipment
- Properly secure and return store keys to the designated location according to company procedures
- Assist with locking and securing the store at the end of the shift while following company safety protocols
Experience
- Previous experience in a retail or sales environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for handling transactions is essential.
- Experience in cosmetology or knowledge of Korean beauty products is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
