Artisan Bread Baker
Chef Sergey’s Bakery – Midland, MI
Pay: $15-25 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week.
Shifts are scheduled Monday through Sunday, 5:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Weekend availability is required.

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Bread Baker to join our team of skilled professionals. This is an excellent opportunity to build a career in artisan baking while working alongside experienced bakers in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, mix, and develop dough according to recipes and production schedules.
- Scale, divide, shape, and score artisan breads by hand.
- Monitor fermentation, proofing, and baking to ensure consistent quality.
- Bake sourdough, baguettes, and specialty breads to company standards.
- Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery while following food safety and sanitation standards.
- Follow production schedules and recipes with precision and attention to detail.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
- Assist with ingredient preparation, inventory organization, and other daily production tasks.
- Help maintain the high standards of craftsmanship our bakery is known for.
Qualifications
- Previous bakery experience is preferred but not required.
- Passion for artisan bread and traditional baking methods.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a professional team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a warm bakery environment.
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally.
