About The Head Spa Sanctuary
Nestled inside the historic Samuel Younts House in Pineville, The Head Spa Sanctuary is a luxury, clean-conscious wellness destination built around one belief: rest isn't something you earn after you've done enough — it's what allows you to keep showing up for the people and things you love.
Through Japanese-inspired Head Spa rituals, massage, advanced facials, zero-gravity manicures and pedicures, and other thoughtfully curated wellness experiences, we help guests slow down, soften, and leave feeling genuinely restored.
Our philosophy is simple: Rooted in Intention. Elevated by Connection.
We believe luxury isn't about exclusivity — it's about intentional craftsmanship. It's found in the details: how a guest is greeted, how a space feels, how thoughtfully a concern is handled, and how well our team works together behind the scenes.
The Role
We're looking for warm, polished, dependable Guest Experience Associates (GEAs) to join our Front of House team.
Our GEAs are much more than traditional receptionists — they're an essential part of the guest journey and a big part of what makes the Sanctuary feel like the Sanctuary. You'll help create a welcoming, elevated experience while managing appointments, guest communication, check-in and checkout, retail, spa flow, and the many small details that make an exceptional visit possible.
This is a fast-paced hospitality role, best suited to someone who stays calm, warm, organized, and attentive even when a lot is happening at once.
Please note: this is not a traditional 9–5 front-desk position. See Schedule & Availability below before applying.
What You'll Do
- Provide a warm, genuine welcome to every guest
- Check guests in and out efficiently and accurately
- Answer incoming calls, texts, and guest questions
- Schedule, modify, and manage spa appointments
- Educate guests on services, enhancements, packages, gift cards, and retail products
- Help guests select services based on their needs and preferences
- Process payments and maintain accuracy at checkout
- Coordinate closely with service providers and management to keep the daily schedule running smoothly
- Monitor appointment flow and proactively address timing or scheduling concerns
- Help maximize the schedule by identifying booking opportunities and filling openings
- Prepare guest amenities and help uphold our hospitality standards
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of Front of House and guest areas throughout your shift
- Assist with retail displays and inventory as needed
- Handle guest concerns with patience and professionalism, and know when to involve a manager
- Support opening and/or closing responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the entire team to create a seamless, held experience for every guest
Who We're Looking For
Our strongest Guest Experience Associates are people who genuinely enjoy taking care of others. You may be a great fit if you are:
- Naturally warm, friendly, and hospitality-minded
- Professional and polished in both communication and appearance
- Comfortable working in a busy, high-volume environment
- Able to multitask without losing attention to detail
- Confident communicating by phone, text, and in person
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable learning new technology and booking systems
- Proactive — you notice what needs to be done without always being asked
- Able to handle guest concerns with patience, empathy, and professionalism
- Comfortable recommending services, enhancements, retail, packages, and gift cards
- A strong team player who communicates well with both providers and leadership
- Someone who takes pride in maintaining a beautiful, considered, organized environment
Previous experience in luxury hospitality, spas, salons, hotels, restaurants, retail, or another high-volume front-desk environment is strongly preferred.
Schedule & Availability — Please Read Before Applying
Evening and weekend availability is mandatory for this position.
The Head Spa Sanctuary is open 7 days a week, 9:00 AM–9:00 PM, and our busiest periods regularly include evenings and weekends. Applicants must be willing and able to work a combination of:
- Weekdays
- Evenings
- Saturdays
- Sundays
- Select holidays and high-volume seasonal periods
Opening team members may begin shifts before the spa opens, and closing team members should expect to stay after the final appointments while closing responsibilities are completed.
Please do not apply if you are unavailable to regularly work evenings and weekends. Availability and reliability are essential to our team and will be discussed during the interview process.
What Matters to Us
We've built The Head Spa Sanctuary around an elevated standard of care — for our guests, our space, and one another.
We're looking for team members who understand that the guest experience is created through hundreds of small moments: remembering someone's name, noticing they need help, keeping a space beautiful, communicating clearly with a provider, solving a problem before it becomes one, and making every guest feel genuinely cared for.
If you love hospitality, thrive as part of a team, and find meaning in creating moments other people remember, we'd love to meet you.
