Job Overview
We are a Custom cabinetry shop seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CAD Draftsman/Office professional to join our team. Your role will be to take pencil field taken drawings and convert to CAD drawings for bid submittal/ shop production drawings. Also general office duties
Duties
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, or Moziak
- Create accurate schematics and system designs for construction, mechanical systems, and interior layouts.
- Estimate jobs off drawings that have completed
- Manage invoicing and accounts receivable/payable
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to refine drawings and ensure alignment with project requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, or SolidWorks.
- Proficiency in SketchUp, Rhino (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, Bluebeam, and 3ds Max is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of drafting standards for Cabinetry/Millwork .
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings, schematics, and technical specifications accurately.
- Experience in interior design, mechanical design or graphic design is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills.
- A degree or diploma in Drafting Technology, Architecture, Mechanical Design or related field is preferred. Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
