Halcyon Nurse Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical/Surgical assignment at Piedmont Healthcare Encompass Health Rehabilitation of Athens. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading inpatient rehabilitation facility and provide exceptional patient care while earning competitive pay.
Position Requirements
- Active Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact RN License
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in one of the following:
- Acute Care Hospital
- Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTAC)
- Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF)
- Current BLS Certification
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Schedule
- Night Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- 30-minute unpaid meal break

Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to Medical/Surgical patients.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
