Location: Middleburg Heights, Ohio
Pay Rate: $55/hr to $60/hr
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Experience: Minimum 3 years required
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Med Surg Registered Nurse for a night-shift contract opportunity in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. This role supports a high-acuity medical-surgical unit at a 350+ bed acute care hospital serving the Cleveland area and requires strong clinical judgment, travel nursing experience, leadership capability, and the ability to work confidently in a fast-paced patient care environment.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care for high-acuity Med Surg patients
Assess patient conditions, monitor changes, and respond promptly to clinical needs
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to care plans
Support mentor, charge, and team leadership responsibilities as needed
Document patient care accurately and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
Requirements
Active unencumbered Ohio Registered Nurse License Required
Minimum 3 years of Med Surg experience required
Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
BLS/BCLS Certification Required
High-acuity unit experience and mentor/charge experience required
