Teleion is looking for an AI Agent Builder to join our team! We are looking for a practical builder who can design, build, and deploy AI agents that automate complex business workflows and increase operational scale. This person will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate real operational workflows into practical AI-powered solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy AI agents that automate complex business workflows and increase operational scale
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate operational workflows into practical, AI-powered automation solutions
- Rapidly prototype, iterate, and deliver agent-based solutions that solve real workflow problems
- Build and integrate agent tooling, MCP servers, and workflow automation components end-to-end
- Manage authentication, secrets, and secure integrations with third-party services and APIs
Must-Have Qualifications
- Strong comfort working in a development environment using tools such as Git, VS Code, package managers (npm or pip), and shipping production-ready code
- Proficiency in Node.js or Python with the ability to build, test, and deploy services end-to-end
- Experience integrating REST APIs, including handling authentication, tokens, request/response parsing, and third-party integrations
- Knowledge of authentication and secrets management, including OAuth 2.0 flows, app registrations, managed identities, and secure secret storage
- Experience building AI agents, extensions, or tool-calling applications, such as MCP servers, custom AI plugins, OpenAI assistants, LangChain or Semantic Kernel applications, and agent orchestration frameworks
- Familiarity with low-code automation platforms and workflow tooling environments
- Strong business and communication skills with the ability to collaborate directly with operational teams and translate workflows into effective automation solutions
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with cloud hosting environments, including App Services, Functions, Containers, or networking
- Infrastructure-as-code experience using tools such as Bicep or Terraform
- SQL, analytics, telemetry, or BI reporting experience
- Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector stores, embeddings, and retrieval pipelines
- DevOps and observability experience including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and application telemetry
