Role Summary
Located in Richmond, VA, 23231, we are looking for a committed Wastewater Machine Operator to support our facility. You will be instrumental in keeping our water treatment systems running smoothly. Core Duties-
Manage and oversee the daily function of water treatment systems and related hardware.

Conduct regular machine upkeep and diagnostics to help maintain peak system reliability.

Gather and evaluate water specimens to verify quality standards and regulatory adherence.

Keep precise logs regarding facility activities, maintenance tasks, and regulatory metrics.

Support the onboarding of incoming personnel by teaching them proper equipment handling and safety standards.

Work alongside colleagues to discover and execute enhancements to our operational workflows.

Address system alerts and urgent situations promptly to ensure continuous facility safety.
Required Skills and Experience-
Completion of secondary education; specialized wastewater training is a plus.

Prior background in machine operation, ideally within an industrial or water treatment context.

Solid grasp of the mechanics and procedures involved in wastewater treatment.

Capacity to function effectively both autonomously and within a collaborative group.

Strong analytical abilities and a sharp eye for precision.

Possession of a current driver's license and dependable transit.

Openness to maintaining a flexible schedule, with availability for holidays and weekends when required.
