About Us: Be a founding member of the brand-new Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory in Tinton Falls! We are opening our doors and looking for energetic, friendly sweet-lovers to grow with us long-term. Please note: This is a permanent, year-round role. We are unable to accept summer-only or temporary seasonal applications due to the extensive training required for our chocolatiers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and craft high-quality chocolates, confections, and specialty treats with precision and care.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about our offerings and encourage tastings to boost sales.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and assisting with selections.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing.
- Maintain attractive merchandising displays, restock shelves regularly, and ensure the store remains clean and organized.
- Upsell products by highlighting new items or promotions to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Use excellent phone etiquette when taking orders or answering inquiries from customers or vendors.
- Assist with inventory management by stocking products, conducting stock counts, and managing product demos to promote featured items.
- Supervise or support team members when needed, fostering a collaborative environment focused on excellent service.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and store policies while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all shoppers.
Experience

- Craft and prepare our high-quality world-famous chocolates, caramel apples, and specialty treats (no background required, we teach you everything!).

- An outgoing, friendly personality who loves working with people.
- Reliability and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in person at our Tinton Falls location.
