Job Description
Cimplifi is currently staffing Senior AML/EDD Analysts for a remote due diligence review run by our client, a multinational law firm. The role is part-time and project based. Working remotely and independently, you will be reviewing potential customer profiles for a financial institution and providing a risk assessment to the client. Work will be variable, so flexibility will be required.
Start Date: As soon as possible upon clearance of background check
Duration: 12 months with the possibility for extension
Hours: Variable, there may be no work for some weeks
Pay Rate: $50/hr
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience conducting AML/KYC/CDD/EDD reviews, including researching high-risk customers and analyzing customer profiles, ownership structures, adverse media, and other risk indicators
- Experience documenting risk assessment findings and recommending a customer risk rating
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to clearly explain the reasoning behind your risk assessment recommendations
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to multitask across different projects and provide quick turnarounds for requests
- Flexibility to work a schedule that can change weekly

- 5. Describe a situation where you needed to conduct open-source research to complete your analysis. What red flags or issues prompted the additional research, what sources did you consult, and how did you determine when you had gathered sufficient information to reach a conclusion?
