Cool Mountain Transport is seeking a detailed oriented individual to join our team as Diesel/Trailer Mechanic. Position is a full-time with rotating on-call responsibilities. Job duties include:
Semi Truck repair;
Diagnosing & repairing electrical and hydraulic problems;
Adjusting, repairing, & replacing parts on equipment, transmissions, differentials, brakes and other equipment;
Changing tires, checking tire pressure, and other tire maintenance;
Greasing equipment & other preventive maintenance functions;
Performing DOT inspections;
Repair/Maintenance of hydraulic systems;
Fabricate body work for trailers
Welding
Repair/Maintenance of belt systems;
Repairing refrigerated trailers and units;
Prepare and maintain service and other records;
Going off site to conduct repairs & maintenance;
Represent Cool Mountain Transport in professional manner at all times; and
Other items as assigned.
Requirements:
Pass pre-employment drug test;
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 pounds unassisted;
DOT certification;
Class A CDL and or 608 Refrigeration Certification is a plus.

- Welding: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- CDL A (Preferred)
