The Director of Nursing (DON) will serve as the clinical leader for AVAD Home Care Solutions, responsible for establishing nursing standards, supervising clinical staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role is essential for agency licensure, Medicaid participation, and CACH program qualification. The DON will develop clinical protocols, oversee client assessments, and ensure high‑quality care delivery across all related service lines.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Oversight & Compliance
- Establish and maintain clinical policies, procedures, and standards of care for AVAD
- Ensure compliance with NJ Board of Nursing, CACH, DMAHS, and all state home care regulations.
- Conduct regular audits of client charts, care plans, nursing notes, and clinical documentation.
- Oversee incident reporting, investigations, and corrective action plans.
- Review and approve client assessments, care plans, and service modifications.
- Conduct supervisory visits and evaluate quality of care delivered in the home.
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and families to ensure coordinated care.
- Respond promptly to clinical escalations, client concerns, and service adjustments.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey (required).
- Minimum 3–5 years of nursing experience, preferably in home care, community health, or long‑term care.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Prefers strong knowledge of NJ home care regulations, Medicaid programs, and CACH requirements. (not required)
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Pay: $44.48 - $53.57 per hour
