We’re looking for a friendly, reliable Barista to join our small coffee cart at the farmers’ market!
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, loves coffee, and wants a flexible, low-hour part-time position. The regular commitment is approximately 4 hours per week, with opportunities to pick up additional hours when we participate in special events, markets, or other pop-ups.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages
- Provide warm, friendly service to customers
- Take orders and handle payments
- Set up and break down the coffee cart and work area
- Keep the workspace clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Help create a welcoming, positive experience for our market customers
- Follow basic food safety and sanitation practices
What We’re Looking For
- Friendly, dependable, and comfortable interacting with customers
- Punctual and able to work independently
- Comfortable working in a busy outdoor market environment
- Previous barista or customer-service experience is a plus, but not required
- Willingness to learn coffee preparation and our menu
- Able to commit to the regular weekly market shift
Schedule
The regular schedule is approximately 4 hours per week, corresponding with our farmers’ market schedule. There may be opportunities for additional hours when we attend special events, pop-ups, or additional markets.
