We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the cash register system.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring presentation meets fine dining standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils between guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Assist with food preparation as needed during busy shifts.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or fine dining is required.
- Strong sales skills with an emphasis on upselling menu items.
- Proficient in basic math for handling cash register transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
