Radiologic Technologists are responsible for obtaining/performing imaging studies to assist the medical staff with diagnosis and treatment of emergency and urgent care conditions and provide support for medical/nursing staff.

What You'll Do
As the Radiology Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the Imaging Department while maintaining the highest standards of patient care, safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Leadership & Operations
- Lead, coach, and mentor radiology technologists and imaging personnel.
- Create staff schedules and manage daily workflow.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop imaging staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and patient-centered culture.
Clinical Excellence
- Ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging services in accordance with physician orders.
- Maintain compliance with ACR, Texas Department of State Health Services, CMS, and other regulatory requirements.
- Monitor image quality and departmental performance metrics.
- Assist technologists during high-volume periods when needed.
Quality & Compliance
- Maintain department policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate equipment inspections, maintenance, and vendor service.
- Participate in accreditation and regulatory surveys.
Financial & Strategic Responsibilities
- Develop and manage departmental budgets.
- Monitor supply inventory and equipment utilization.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost savings.
- Participate in strategic planning and department growth initiatives.
- Positioning patients for CT scans/Xray using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
- Appropriately setting the controls of the related equipment, monitoring equipment and patient, making adjustments as necessary
- Evaluating CT scans for technical quality, collating processed images in sequence of exposure and appropriately labeling
- Charging procedures and supplies used to the patient record
- Loading and operating power injections for contrast media administration
- Maintaining accurate patient records for all procedures performed, maintaining patient confidentiality, and adhering to all HIPAA standards
- Monitor QA's and QC's
- Other duties such as performing EKG's, running in-house point of care laboratory testing, starting IV's, etc. Will train on these duties.
Qualifications
Required
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current ARRT Certification (RT).
- Current Texas Medical Board MRT License.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Minimum 5 years of radiology experience.
- Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of emergency imaging procedures.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- Advanced ARRT Certification (CT preferred).
- Experience in Emergency Department or Freestanding Emergency Room.
- Experience with PACS and EMR systems.
- Certification in Radiology Administration or Imaging Management.
