We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project Manager to oversee specialty commercial lighting projects from contract award through final completion. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all phases of assigned projects while ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications and customer expectations.
The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, effectively manages multiple priorities, and collaborates with customers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to deliver exceptional project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple specialty construction projects
- Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure project compliance.
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers, architects, general contractors, manufacturers, and field teams.
- Coordinate project schedules, material procurement, labor, equipment, and logistics to support on-time project execution.
- Manage RFIs, change orders, project documentation, and closeout packages.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and risks, proactively resolving issues to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of project management experience in construction, specialty contracting, or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing commercial construction projects.
- Familiarity with project scheduling software and ERP/project management systems.
- Knowledge of procurement, logistics, and construction installation processes.
- Experience working directly with general contractors, architects, and owners.

Working Conditions
- Primarily office-based with regular visits to construction job sites as needed.
- Frequent communication with customers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams via phone, email, virtual meetings, and in-person meetings.
- Local and occasional regional travel may be required to attend project meetings and job sites.
- Fast-paced environment requiring the ability to manage multiple projects, shifting priorities, and tight deadlines.
- Standard business hours with occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends to meet project demands.
- Must be able to remain seated for extended periods, use standard office equipment, and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.

Pay: $57,500.00 - $71,500.00 per year
