Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, residential units, or common areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and supplies
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and disinfected according to health standards
- Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming carpets, and performing carpet cleaning as needed
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests or residents
- Assist with janitorial tasks like trash removal, window cleaning, and restroom sanitation to uphold cleanliness standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest or resident requests promptly and professionally
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments with janitorial or custodial background preferred
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and floor care techniques including carpet cleaning
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to perform laundry tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures or housekeeper management is a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks effectively
