Duties
- Assist in the assembly, disassembly, and repair of hydraulic systems using hand tools and power tools
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to understand system layouts
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure accurate component fitting
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to transport materials and parts within the facility
- Conduct routine inspections of hydraulic components and mechanical assemblies for wear or damage
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, parts used, and system performance
Skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge with an understanding of hydraulic principles and components
- Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams
- Experience with precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding, soldering, machining, and fabrication techniques
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation and inventory management
- Ability to interpret manufacturing drawings and assembly instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards and quality control
