Seabury School is an independent school serving students in preschool through 8th grade. As the only independent school for highly capable students in the South Puget Sound region, Seabury’s mission is to “challenge gifted children in a community that cherishes each individual and fosters a love of learning, discovery and creativity."
Seabury is seeking a school bus driver. Responsibilities of the position include:
- Pickup and dropoff routes on scheduled weekdays.
- Periodically driving students on field trips during the school day. Field trips are scheduled with the driver in advance.
- This position is a job share. You and the other bus driver can coordinate time off and cover one another/s shifts.
Previous experience driving a school bus is required. Applicants must have a current CDL with passenger and school bus driver endorsements and a clean driving record. Air brake endorsement is not required. Strong applicants have demonstrated the ability to create a safe, positive experience on the bus for children. This would be a perfect job for someone retired looking for a job share for 20 hours a week plus field trips.
