Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas thoroughly and efficiently
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish amenities to uphold high standards of comfort and presentation
- Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning to maintain pristine surfaces
- Handle janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces
- Assist with special cleaning projects involving industrial cleaning equipment or deep cleaning procedures when needed
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest safety
- Follow all safety protocols and cleaning procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping roles with a strong understanding of hospitality standards
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet extraction, polishing, and floor stripping
- Familiarity with janitorial equipment and industrial cleaning tools for efficient task completion
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly
- Experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required
