CNC Machinist / Operator
Twin City EDM (TCEDM) is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist / Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong CNC machining experience, the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, and a solid understanding of machining principles and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machining equipment to produce precision components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements.
- Apply knowledge of G&M codes to effectively operate and troubleshoot CNC equipment.
- Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment.
- Make necessary machine adjustments and offsets to maintain part quality and specifications.
- Follow established quality and production procedures.
- Maintain accurate measurements and inspection results.
- Troubleshoot basic machining and tooling issues as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist or CNC Operator.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
- Basic understanding of G&M codes.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment, including:
- Calipers
- Micrometers
- Trimos
- Vision inspection systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating Mazak, Okuma, and/or Matsuura CNC machines.
- Experience with 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis machining centers.
- Experience making tool and offset adjustments.
- Experience in a precision manufacturing or medical-device manufacturing environment.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced CNC professional who can hit the ground running with minimal training. Candidates should be comfortable reading blueprints and GD&T, operating CNC equipment, making basic adjustments, and accurately inspecting finished parts.

Pay: $23.00 - $34.00 per hour
