Overview
The Golf Club at Black Rock is one of the premier private golf and lifestyle clubs in the Pacific Northwest. We are seeking an ambitious accounting professional who is looking for more than just a bookkeeping position.
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our financial records, supporting audit processes, and implementing best practices across accounting operations. Working directly with senior leadership, ownership, and our current Controller, the successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in our financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, payroll oversight, and strategic planning. Over time, this position has the potential to evolve into a Controller-level role.
What You'll Do
- Assist with month-end financial reporting.
- Perform account reconciliations and journal entries.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Work with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist with payroll and employee benefit reporting.
- Participate in strategic financial planning and analysis.
- Collaborate with department leaders throughout The Club.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- 2+ years of accounting experience.
- Strong Excel skills. Experience with Jonas and Paycom preferred.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- A desire to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility.
