We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Logistics Associate to join our vibrant team! In this role, you will be the backbone of our warehouse operations, ensuring seamless coordination of inventory, shipping, receiving, and distribution processes. We will need someone to be flexible. This role will start off as a Uhaul customer service rep.
Responsibilities and (Future Duties)
- Manage daily warehouse operations including order picking, packing, and stock replenishment using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Prepare shipments by accurately picking and packing orders, ensuring proper labeling and packaging according to trade compliance and international trade regulations
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely to load and unload trucks, move inventory, and organize stock within the warehouse (FUTURE DUTIES)
- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software and ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP modules
- Conduct regular stock counts, reconcile discrepancies, and update inventory data through data entry tasks to ensure precise stock levelsSupport
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or related logistics roles with familiarity in warehouse distribution processes
- Strong understanding of shipping logistics, order fulfillment procedures, and trade compliance standards for international trade regulations
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing
- Valid certification or experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers is highly desirable
- Excellent data entry skills combined with customer service orientation to support internal teams and external partners effectively
