Floater – New Net Manufacturing

Position Summary
The Floater position in New Net Manufacturing is a versatile production role responsible for supporting multiple workstations and processes as needed. This position ensures continuous workflow by filling in where demand is highest, maintaining productivity, quality standards, and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Fill in across various production areas based on daily needs and staffing requirements
Perform strap cutting and material preparation tasks
Complete stenciling operations per specifications
Assist in net and strap fabrication processes
Operate manual sewing equipment
Operate automated sewing machines (training provided as needed)
Participation in net assembly operations
Conduct net inspection to ensure product meets quality standards
Package finished goods according to work instructions
Perform material handling, including moving raw materials and finished goods
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Support continuous improvement efforts and team productivity
Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred
Ability to learn multiple processes and adapt quickly
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Ability to follow work instructions and production schedules
Ability to obtain a forklift license
Good teamwork and communication skills
Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift
Ability to lift and move materials (up to 50 lbs as needed)
Repetitive use of hands for cutting, sewing, and assembly tasks
Ability to work in a production/manufacturing environment
Work Environment
Manufacturing floor environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and materials
Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed
Additional Expectations
Flexibility to move between departments and tasks throughout the day
Willingness to be cross-trained in multiple production areas
Commitment to meeting production goals and quality standards
