Position: Home Health Aide
Location: Cape Coral, Fort Myers, North Fort Myers, Lehigh Acres
Starting Pay: $17.00/hour
Language Requirement: English-speaking ONLY
Job Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide in-home support to clients, particularly those living with developmental disabilities or dementia. If you are someone who values empathy, dignity, and quality care, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, dressing)
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Prepare and cook nutritious meals
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment
- Monitor and report any changes in health or behavior
- Support mobility and provide transportation as needed
- Ensure timely and accurate medication intake
- Maintain detailed care records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Qualifications:
- Experience in home health care, assisted living, or nursing homes
- Familiarity with caring for individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform light housekeeping duties
- Basic cooking skills with attention to dietary needs
- Understanding of HIPAA and confidentiality standards
- A compassionate, patient, and reliable nature
