Summary
We are seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to join our team in delivering outstanding patient care at our facility. This role is essential in supporting our ophthalmologists and ensuring a smooth patient experience, contributing significantly to our mission of providing high-quality eye care.
Responsibilities
- Greet and prepare patients for their eye exams
- Obtain patient history and chief complaint information
- Accurately and efficiently perform patient pre-testing
- Provide instructions on eye drop administration, medication adherence, and post-visit care
- Accurately records information in our EMR system according to established standards and physician requirements
- Prepare and maintain examination and treatment rooms
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as an Ophthalmic Technician preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ophthalmology and medical terminology.
- Experience with EMR systems and medical office operations is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
