Applications Engineer – Building Automation (BAS/DDC)
Dallas, Texas | Full-Time

What You’ll Be Doing

Provide technical application support for BAS/DDC systems, including product selection and system design guidance
- Develop quotes, estimates, and material takeoffs from plans/specs
- Support sales teams with technical presentations and solution recommendations
- Program and configure BAS controllers (including Niagara-based systems)
- Assist with startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting for new and existing systems
- Serve as a go-to technical resource for customers and internal teams
- Diagnose system issues and recommend improvements or optimizations
- Build custom logic and modules within Niagara N4 environments
- Deliver training and technical guidance on products and systems
- Occasionally visit job sites to evaluate systems and support customers in the field

What They’re Looking For
-
Strong experience with Building Automation / HVAC Controls (BAS/DDC)
- Hands-on knowledge of platforms like Niagara (N4), Johnson Controls FX, Distech, Honeywell, KMC, or similar
- Experience with multi-vendor systems and open protocols (BACnet, Modbus, etc.)
- Ability to support both technical sales and engineering functions
- Familiarity with networking concepts related to BAS systems
- Experience with programming, troubleshooting, and system configuration
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and/or architectural drawings

Niagara N4 Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Experience supporting multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
