MTN is actively hiring School Bus Drivers throughout the Twin Cities metro. We recently increased our wages to better reward both new and experienced drivers, and we’re looking for dependable people who want a stable, flexible, and meaningful career.
WHAT MTN OFFERS:
- $28/hr starting wage for new drivers
- $29–$35/hr for experienced drivers (based on experience)
- Weekly pay with direct deposit
- Guaranteed 25 hours per week on available routes
- Metro-area routes: Fridley, Minneapolis, St. Paul, Hopkins & surrounding areas

CDL TRAINING SUPPORT
Whether you’re new to driving or returning to the industry, we support you through the entire CDL process.
We provide:
- Free permit prep classes (School Bus, Passenger, General Knowledge endorsements)

- One-on-one behind-the-wheel CDL training once your permit is obtained

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely operate a school bus following all DOT and traffic regulations
- Ensure student safety during transport
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route updates or issues
- Assist students entering and exiting the bus safely
- Maintain professional behavior and safety standards
- Attend required safety meetings and training
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong safety mindset and communication skills
- Ability to work with children and manage behavior positively
- Previous driving experience preferred but not required
