Summary
We are seeking a passionate Lead and Assistant Teachers to join our team at The Goddard School. In this role, you will create a fun and educational atmosphere for children aged six weeks to six years, helping them develop essential skills for lifelong success. Your contributions will be vital in fostering a love of learning and discovery in our students.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote children's learning and development.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support student growth.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to maintain a safe and respectful classroom.
- Assess children's progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Encourage literacy development through engaging activities and storytelling.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage young learners.
- Experience in daycare or early childhood settings is a plus.
- Ability to create lesson plans that are both educational and enjoyable for children.
- Knowledge of behavior management strategies is beneficial.
