Duties
- Lead and supervise all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest services, to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize revenue management and occupancy rates while controlling costs.
- Oversee managing hospitality operations budgets, ensuring financial targets are met through effective budgeting and expense management.
- Foster a welcoming environment by maintaining excellent guest relations, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring high levels of customer service.
- Manage human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development to build a motivated hospitality team.
- Oversee daily hotel operations including front desk activities, multi-line phone systems, phone etiquette, night audit procedures, and guest check-in/check-out processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, hotel policies, and local regulations while maintaining a secure environment for guests and staff.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the hotel’s amenities and services to attract diverse clientele.
- Implement quality assurance programs to uphold service standards across all departments.
- Utilize hospitality management software to monitor operational metrics and generate reports for continuous improvement.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within the hospitality industry, preferably in hotel or resort environments.
- Extensive knowledge of hotel management practices including revenue management, budgeting, human resources, and guest services.
- Demonstrated success managing hospitality operations budgets with a focus on financial operations and cost control.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively across multiple departments.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and resolving issues efficiently.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance communication with international guests.
- Experience with night audit procedures and managing front desk operations is preferred.
- Previous resort experience or working within luxury hotels is advantageous for this role.
