This is a 4 month temporary part-time position.
The Synergy Lottery Transition temporary professional will support district staff in setting up and managing the school assignment process. This contract scope of work requires all planning, communication, implementation, record-keeping, and evaluation of services related to initial implementation of the district’s new Synergy Lottery program.
Scope of Work

Collaborate with Edupoint (Synergy), and the Eugene 4J Student Information Systems (SIS), Research, and McKinney-Vento teams, and other district staff, as appropriate, to design and conduct the transition from SchoolMint toward the district’s implementation of the Synergy Lottery program districtwide.

Design the system such that it can readily coordinate in-district school choice transfers, inter-district transfers, tuition waivers, and international student placement.

Maintain the integrity and student data privacy of the school choice district processes during the build and initial implementation process.

Contract work begins on August 31, 2026. The consultant must ensure that the Synergy Lottery program is ready to support the district’s school choice program by January 31, 2027.

This scope of work requires deadlines that must be met; the temporary professional must design their work plan such that it is able to meet required deadlines, with appropriate supports provided by district staff from the SIS and Research teams.

Three (3) letters of recommendation. Must be from the last 2 years and one letter must be from a supervisor.
Upon offer of employment applicants must obtain a fingerprint clearance from the Oregon State Police Department and the FBI through a process authorized by the Eugene School District 4J. Applicants would be responsible for the one-time fingerprint clearance fee.
