Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and monitor strategic supply chain strategies to ensure increased efficiency and productivity.
2. Oversee the entire supply chain process, including procurement, MRP, lead times, demand forecasting, and production planning.
3. Collaborate with other departments to identify vulnerabilities and close operational gaps.
4. Maintain a constant dialogue with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of supplies and raw materials.
5. Develop and maintain detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the company, at sites, and in transit.
6. Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
7. Implement new or improved supply chain processes to improve efficiency or performance.
8. Work with finance, sales, and manufacturing team to determine best vendors and distributors.
9. Develop and manage a system for tracking and reviewing purchase orders.
10. Ensure the company is in compliance with laws and regulations regarding supply chain management.
11. Implement and adhere to ISO standards in all supply chain processes.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or equivalent field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in the plastics, rubber, or silicone industry.
3. Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager, Procurement Manager or similar role.
4. Solid knowledge in supply chain management principles and practices.
5. Strong knowledge of vendor management and procurement processes.
6. Proficient in supply chain management software (such as MRP, SCM).
7. Excellent analytical skills with an ability to drive meaningful actions from large data sets.
8. Familiarity with ISO standards and experience in implementing them.
9. Strong leadership capabilities, with the ability to lead and engage a high-performing team.
10. Excellent problem-solving skills and a strategic thinker.
11. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
12. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
