Room Attendant / Housekeeper
Residence Inn by Marriott & SpringHill Suites by Marriott – St. George, Utah
We are looking for dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Room Attendants to join our Housekeeping team at the Residence Inn and SpringHill Suites by Marriott in St. George.
Our Room Attendants are one of the most important parts of the guest experience. A clean, comfortable, and welcoming guestroom can make all the difference in a guest's stay, and we are looking for team members who take pride in creating that experience.

What You'll Do
- Clean and prepare guestrooms according to Marriott brand standards and hotel expectations.
- Make beds and replace linens and towels.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, showers, sinks, and guestroom surfaces.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop guestroom floors.
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and guestroom areas.
- Clean mirrors, windows, and glass surfaces as assigned.
- Remove trash and used linens from guestrooms.
- Restock guestroom amenities and supplies.
- Ensure guestrooms are clean, organized, and welcoming for arriving guests.
- Inspect your work and pay close attention to the small details that make a room feel truly clean.
- Report maintenance concerns, damaged items, and lost and found items to hotel leadership.
- Properly use and care for cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Follow hotel safety, sanitation, and chemical handling procedures.
- Keep housekeeping carts, closets, and work areas clean and organized.
- Work efficiently to complete assigned rooms within hotel expectations.
- Communicate and work closely with Housekeeping leadership and the Front Desk.
- Assist with cleaning public areas or other hotel areas when needed.
- Help your teammates and jump in wherever needed to support the hotel and our guests.

Previous hotel housekeeping or professional cleaning experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
Physical Requirements
This is an active, hands-on position. Room Attendants must be able to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Bend, kneel, reach, twist, and perform repetitive movements.
- Push and pull a housekeeping cart.
- Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Work at a steady pace throughout the shift.
- Safely use cleaning products and equipment.
Schedule & Availability
This position may be full-time or part-time based on hotel needs.
Room Attendant shifts typically begin in the morning and continue until assigned guestrooms are completed. Weekend and holiday availability is required based on hotel occupancy and business needs.
