- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Aviation, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Planning or other related technical field required
- 15 years or more experience, preferably on airport projects
- Relevant professional licensure and/or certification are strongly preferred. Certifications may include AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, AICP, etc.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively between technical and non-technical audiences
- High level of organizational awareness and operational understanding
- Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced airport environment
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven mindset
- Proven experience in Airport Operations, preferably within a large hub environment such as Los Angeles International Airport
- Experience working in closely related fields such as airline operations, terminal management, and project management
- Exposure to or direct involvement in airport IT or infrastructure projects strongly preferred
- Experience working across multiple terminals and with diverse stakeholder groups
- Familiarity with LAX terminal projects and operational environment is a strong plus
- Experience supporting end-users and/or managing teams is highly desirable, with the ability to understand user needs and translate them into effective operational and technical solutions
- Experience with LAWA is preferred for interacting with LAWA, City departments, contractors, and airlines
The salary range for this position is $162,000 - $192,000. The salary offered will be based on the applicant’s qualifications, education, experience and work location.
