Full-Time Welder / Fabricator
We are seeking a full time welder/fabricator to join our growing team. We are a family-owned waste and recycling company looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to maintain and repair our fleet of trucks, containers, compactors, and other equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG, stick, and/or TIG welding on steel components
- Repair roll-off containers, front-load dumpsters, compactors, and trailers
- Fabricate and modify steel parts as needed
- Perform structural repairs on trucks and equipment
- Use torches, plasma cutters, grinders, and fabrication tools safely
- Inspect equipment and identify repair needs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Work independently and as part of our maintenance team
Qualifications:
- Welding and fabrication experience required
- Ability to read measurements and fabricate from drawings or examples
- Experience with heavy equipment, trucks, or construction equipment is a plus
- Must be reliable, motivated, and safety-conscious
- Valid driver's license required (CDL is a plus but not required)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
