Overview
Rapides Council on Aging is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and customer-focused Part-Time Meal Driver to join our team. This position plays a vital role in supporting older adults throughout Rapides Parish by ensuring the safe, timely, and courteous delivery of nutritious meals to homebound seniors. In addition to meal delivery, the driver serves as a friendly face and wellness check for clients, helping promote their independence, health, and quality of life.
The ideal candidate is reliable, enjoys working with the public, maintains a positive attitude, and understands the importance of treating every client with dignity and respect. This position requires safe driving practices, excellent time management, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff.
