Seeking a candidate for an accounting position, to start along with tax season with a flexible schedule, at a modern accounting office. Fluency in both Russian/English is required.
Some college education or professional credentials are required. Candidate should have strong skills primarily in business & individual tax return preparation using ProSeries/CCH/ATX as well as QuickBooks, payroll processing, and Word/Excel. Good communication skills are required for dealing with clients, and federal/state tax authorities.
Compensation will be based on experience level and skill set, and there is continued opportunity for growth.
Responsibilities:
- Full corporate accounting operations (maintain general ledger, year-end statement preparation, payroll )
- Preparation and review of business and individual tax returns
Experience:
- 3 or more years at a CPA firm or comparable tax return preparation office experience
Required languages:
- Russian, English
Education:
- A degree in accounting or some college credits are required
