MP is a full-service environmental company that provides comprehensive services ranging from the initial analysis of a situation to the implementation of corrective action technology, and finally clean-up and removal. With a wide variety of company-owned locations and resources, MP is able to self-perform many projects including demolition, tank cleaning, industrial decontamination, solids separation, soils excavation, waste packaging, site restoration and waste transportation. Knowledgeable, efficient project managers and field supervisors ensure our ability to manage all types of projects from small tank removals to large-scale remediation projects. Our experienced team works with both private and public sector customers on all types of field projects at a hands-on level. We are seeking a skilled and reliable drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting cargo in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and the ability to operate various types of trucks, including tankers.
Duties
- Operate tanker, roll off, flat bed, end dumps and dry vans to transport Hazardous waste to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities and types of cargo transported.
- Follow all federal, state, and local regulations regarding the transportation of hazardous materials.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Skills
- Proficient in truck driving with experience operating tractor-trailers, roll-off trucks, flatbeds, and tankers (will train).
- Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and best practices.
- Ability to operate forklifts for loading and unloading cargo.
- Experience with manual transmission vehicles is required.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 70.0 per week
