Hayes Manufacturing is looking for a Lift Truck Driver (Forklift Operator) at our Fife Lake, MI location. Lift Truck Drivers are responsible for operating and managing industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move parts and products to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks, and into trucks or storage facilities.
What You’ll Do:
- Operate and manage technical equipment to load, unload, ship, and receive warehouse items.
- Transport materials to different locations within the facility.
- Optimize loads to ensure operational efficiency.
- Wrap orders for shipment.
What You’ll Need:
- 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset.
- Technical capacity.
- Verbal and written communication proficiency.
- Results-driven attitude, initiative, and self-management.
- Problem-solving ability.
What Helps:
- Lift truck license preferred (can be obtained on the job).
