Bartender – Iron Spike Brewing Company
Iron Spike Brewing Company is looking for an experienced bartender to join our team. This is not an entry-level bartending position. We are a high-volume brewery and restaurant, and our bartenders play one of the most important front-of-house roles.
Our bar serves not only bar guests but also supports the dining room, meaning a large portion of drink tickets come from restaurant guests. Speed, organization, and accuracy are essential.
What We're Looking For
- Previous high-volume bartending experience is required.
- Ability to work quickly while maintaining excellent guest service.
- Friendly, outgoing personality that enjoys interacting with people.
- Ability to stay calm and organized during busy shifts.
- Dependable and punctual. We need someone we can count on.
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to prioritize under pressure.
- Comfortable working independently. Many shifts are staffed with only one bartender.
- Willingness to learn our craft beer lineup, cocktails, and menu.
- Experience handling cash and POS systems is a plus.
Schedule
This position requires nights, weekends, and holidays, as those are our busiest times.
Friday and Saturday nights we are open until 1:00 AM, so applicants must be available to work late-night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service to bar and dining room guests.
- Prepare beer, cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages quickly and accurately.
- Keep up with high volumes of drink tickets while maintaining quality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar.
- Check IDs and serve alcohol responsibly.
- Work as a team with servers, hosts, managers, and kitchen staff to provide an outstanding guest experience.
Physical Requirements
- Stand for extended periods.
- Lift and carry cases of beer, liquor, and bar supplies.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
