Job Summary
This job posting is for a part-time, hourly (approx. 30 hours per week) Showroom Sales Lead at Process Home in Dallas, TX.
The Showroom Sales Lead drives new business growth through showroom sales, develops relationships with designers and trade partners, and converts inbound client inquiries into high-quality design projects. This role serves as a senior individual contributor who leads by example, supports sales team development, and helps execute sales strategies established by the Sales Manager. The Showroom Sales Lead combines strong sales performance with team support to help achieve company growth objectives.
Employee Responsibilities
· Manage and convert inbound leads across showroom, web, referral, and social media channels.
· Build and maintain relationships with homeowners, interior designers, architects, and trade partners.
· Drive showroom sales through client follow-up, relationship building, and consistent lead conversion.
· Seek custom furniture and upholstery business from designers, agencies, and referral partners.
· Serve as a top-performing sales professional and model best practices for the sales team.
· Assist the Sales Manager with sales process improvements, lead tracking, and pipeline management.
· Monitor lead response times, client follow-up, and sales activity to help improve conversion rates.
· Collaborate with design, operations, and production teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
· Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and activity reporting.
· Support showroom merchandising, events, and client engagement initiatives.
Required Education
Associate’s degree in Interior Design or a related field; or equivalent years of related experience in lieu of degree.
Required Experience
· 4+ years of experience in sales, preferably in a design, interiors, luxury furnishings, custom furniture, or high-touch client environment.
· Demonstrated success generating new business, managing client relationships, and consistently achieving sales goals.
· Strong track record of managing a sales pipeline, lead conversion process, and revenue performance.
· Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
· Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, production teams, and leadership to deliver exceptional client experiences.
· Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail.
· Proficiency with CRM systems, sales reporting, and lead management tools.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
· Normal retail / showroom environments; extended periods of sitting, standing, or typing at a computer are required.
· Willing to work evenings and weekends.
· Moderate lifting may be required, up to 50 lbs.
· Must be able to commute between separate work locations if needed with reliable transportation.
· This is considered an On-Site position based at the Process Home showroom in Dallas.
Compensation
This role has an hourly pay range of $20-23 per hour depending on experience. In addition, this role is eligible for commission on sales and a quarterly bonus structure.
