Under the close supervision of the Information Technology Manager I (IT Manager I), and in a learning capacity, the Student Assistant will function as the Enterprise Quality Assurance Analyst Assistant. The incumbent will participate in the testing and analysis of software applications to meet the organization’s current and evolving business needs. The incumbent will learn and support the Hybrid Agile System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including system design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation support, with a focus on requirements analysis and testing practices. The incumbent is responsible for learning to perform analytical studies and application testing, and to support other application development activities. Work will be performed in accordance with CDTFA’s Mission and Values, and is geared toward fulfilling the Platform Development Services Section’s (PDSS) unit goals while focusing on the needs of our business programs across the department.

Under Government Code 14200, this position may be eligible for partial telework for eligible candidates residing in California. All telework/hybrid schedules require staff to report to the office a minimum number of days per week. Schedules are subject to change.
