Job Summary
Our Cinnamon Creek location is seeking a friendly, dependable, and organized Front Desk Coordinator/Classroom Floater to join our team. This position plays an important role in the daily operations of our center by providing exceptional customer service to families while also supporting our classrooms as needed.
The ideal candidate is flexible, enjoys working with children and families, and can confidently transition between administrative responsibilities and classroom support throughout the day. This position requires a team-oriented individual who is willing to step in wherever needed to ensure our center runs smoothly and our children receive quality care.
Responsibilities Front Desk Responsibilities
- Welcome families, visitors, and vendors with a warm and professional attitude.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls while providing excellent customer service.
- Respond to parent inquiries in person, over the phone, and through email.
- Assist with enrollment paperwork, student files, attendance records, and other administrative tasks.
- Maintain confidential records and perform data entry with accuracy.
- Schedule tours, appointments, and meetings as needed.
- Process incoming mail and deliveries.
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Assist with office organization and supply inventory.
Classroom Responsibilities
- Float between classrooms to provide support throughout the day based on staffing needs.
- Cover teacher breaks, lunches, meetings, and absences while maintaining state-required child-to-teacher ratios.
- Supervise children in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.
- Assist with daily classroom routines, including meals, diapering/toileting, nap time, playground supervision, and classroom transitions.
- Engage children through play, learning activities, and positive interactions that support their development.
- Help maintain clean, organized, and sanitized classrooms in accordance with licensing regulations.
- Follow all health, safety, and licensing requirements while ensuring the well-being of every child.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow team members.
Qualifications
- Previous administrative, receptionist, customer service, or childcare experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and general office technology.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to support both the office and classrooms as needed.
- Must meet all state licensing requirements, including background checks and required training.

Pay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour
